A 'Random Act of Kindness' for Philisa Abafazi Bethu

In this clip, EB Inglis chats to Lucinda Evans of NGO Philisa Abafazi Bethu. ------- This Women’s Month, through the Dis-Chem Random Acts of Kindness movement, Kfm 94.5 together with The Dis-Chem Foundation are out to make a difference by helping those charities that help women by donating to initiatives that empower victims of GBV. EB Inglis interviews Lucinda Evans of Philisa Abafazi Bethu (Xhosa for "Heal our Women"). She founded South African NGO in 2008 with the goal of helping women in need of support and shelter.  We provide services to survivors of GBV, and we also do a child protection programme. - Lucinda Evans According to recent findings from the SAPS, in South Africa, a woman is killed every 3 hours. In a recent speech by the President, described gender-based violence as our country’s second pandemic. Dis-Chem Foundation representative Sherry Saltzman joined the call with Lucinda to share the good news.
